Get involved with PEN: send us your edits!

We would really love PEN lessons to be as relevant and high-quality as possible, and would be really interested in hearing your feedback and suggestions. We can incorporate your feedback into updated versions of the lesson, and even create PEN lessons that are especially customized for your area and resources, so you can take advantage of them in the future.

As well as the book you're currently reading, there are also two separate copies of each lesson in small booklets. These can give you something to refer to while teaching, but their main purpose is so you can have a copy to write on and make your own edits. This curriculum was designed from a lesson series taught in a specific school in southern Ghana, and there might be changes you have to make to teach them to your club.

We'd like to see your edits and ideas, so that we can incorporate them into the PEN curriculum. In the future, we'd like teachers to be able to edit lessons directly online, so it's important for us to see how you change the lessons and what you change about them. We would really appreciate it if you could post us some of your edited copies of the lesson booklets, so we can get some feedback.

To give us feedback…

1. Draw/Scribble/Write on your lesson booklets

The lesson booklets are designed to have wide margins (so you can write in them) and space around diagrams (so you can draw your own). For example…

2. Answer the questions at the back of the booklets

There are also a few questions about the lesson at the back of each booklet that we'd love to get some feedback on.

Also, please let us know if you have any suggestions for further PEN lessons, or want to share any lessons or projects you've worked on before with us.

2. Send us your written-on booklets!

You could send them in one of a few ways:

1. Scan/photograph them and send the files to pen-execs@mit.edu

2. Fax them to: 617-258-9357

3. Put them in an envelope and send them to us at this address:
